‘American Horror Story’ season 6 spoiler: Evan Peters rumoured to play Charles Manson

“American Horror Story” alumni Evan Peters is rumoured to play the villain in Season 6, which premieres Wednesday.

AHS fans are theorizing that Peters, who was cast as Tate Langdon in the anthology TV series’ maiden season, will appear as the infamous 1960s cult leader whose followers killed for him. Earlier in the series, Langdon’s character uttered the words “Helter Skelter,” which was Manson’s vision of an apocalyptic war that stems from racial discrimination.

Peters, himself, gave fans a clue on social media when he posted a photo of his beard on photo- and video-sharing site Instagram.

Without an AHS cast list, some cynical fans pointed out that Peters’ aged look could be for his upcoming film “Where the White Man Runs Away.”

With the 26 AHS teasers released so far, fans remained left in the dark about the season 6 theme but various theories point to Manson. Evidence like the word “PIG” spelled out in various teasers as well as a scene where spiders are coming out of a woman’s eyelashes point out to Manson.
