American Idol Alums

Here're some of the "Idols" who have made their names widely known after the American Idol title;

1. Kelly Clarkson won the first season of "American Idol" in 2002, whose album has sold for more than 20 million records worldwide since then. She has been claimed to be the Highest-selling Idol winner. 
2. Clay Aiken, has the most ardent fans whom have shown their incredibly supportive and loyal even after the alum.
3. Fantasia Barrino, the first single parent who has came to win the third season of American Idol in 2004 has earned her opportunity to perform in the musical " The Color Purple" in the Broadway.
4. Carrie Underwood, the winner of the 4^th season, is the most successful idol alums. She has won multiple Grammy awards and is a multi-platinum selling artist.
5. Taylor Hicks won the fifth season of American Idol at age 29. He has later named People Magazine's hottest bachelor after his win in 2006.
6. Jordin Sparks was just 17 when she won the sixth season of "American Idol". Her debut album has certified platinum in 2008.
7. David Cook won the American Idol's seventh season in 2008. Cook has been pursuing a musical career before the Idol tryout.
