For many months the authorities have yet to fully investigate the unlawful death of the highest-selling singer of all times. The late singer's family, particularly sister LaToya has voiced out her dissatisfaction regarding her younger brother's accidental overdose of Propofol, a powerful anesthetic, which was given by Murray. The grief-stricken sister had previously commented that Murray should be charged with premeditated murder.

According to entertainment tabloid, TMZ.com, the Texas-born Murray has been charged with involuntary manslaughter and will walk into court out of his own free will. The distraught physician is said to be set on bail at USD 25,000. Instead of being arrested and taken into custody with handcuffs, Murray will appear at The Los Angeles Police Station at 1.30pm before the court proceedings begin.

The trial is also expected to be a retrospect investigation on the common habit of celebrities gaining access to illegal prescriptive medications via personal recommendations through irresponsible physicians. In relevance to Jackson's overdose, the case will focus on the untimely deaths of celebrities such as Anna Nicole Smith, Brittany Murphy and Heath Ledger.
