In the eighth episode of "The Bachelorette," Jojo Fletcher met up with the contestants' families and toured their respective hometowns. The reality TV star discovered many of the boys' backstory and family issues.

Jojo first visited Chase's parents. She met up with the medical sales representative at Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Chase explained that his parents were divorced, which is why they had to meet them separately. When they arrived at his father’s place, Chase confronted his dad for answers. He wanted to know why they had to divorce. Afterwards, they visited Chase’s mother and the rest of his family. The 27-year-old spilled his emotions while they spoke to his mother.

The next family on the list was Jordan’s. Jojo and the former quarterback headed to Chico, California. Jordan showed Jojo his high school before he took her to his home. During the trip, Jojo kept asking him about his brother Aaron who he said was “not worth talking about.”

“It pains both of us not to have that relationship,” Luke, Jordan’s brother, told Jojo when they arrived at his home. “We miss our brother. We are just trusting that God brings things full circle."

After Jordan’s family, Robbie’s house in St. Augustine, Florida, was the next destination. Jojo wanted to make sure that he was over his ex-girlfriend. She admitted that she did not “want to fill a void” for Robbie. The two then met the family who were much livelier than the previous ones. Jojo told Robbie’s mum that she was falling for his son.

The last family Jojo visited was Luke’s. The two went to Burnet, Texas where Luke invited many of his friends to meet "The Bachelorette" star. He also confessed that he wished to spend his future with Jojo, adding that his heart was hers. However, Jojo decided to send him home during the rose ceremony. But Luke refused and professed his feelings.

The episode ended with a “To be continued.” "The Bachelorette" airs on 9Life in Australia on Tuesdays.
