Not even a tangled weave can stop Beyonce from performing. Just ask her fans, or just one fan, rather. The American songstress was performing off the main stage to get closer to her fans, but her weave was caught by a stage electric fan, forcing her to wait for a staff member to cut her hair while she sang through the ordeal.

Beyonce was singing her hit single “Halo” at the Bell Centre in Montreal on Monday when her professionalism was tested. It didn’t bother her that her hair got tangled in a large stage fan; she just went right on singing. She didn’t even miss a single beat while she waited for a crew member to help her get free.

Her staff were quick to come to her aid, though, and one cut off the trapped lock of hair with a pair of scissors. With that, the Queen B was free to sashay away as if nothing dire just happened.

And that’s what you call a true performer!

Beyonce was quick to mention the incident on her Instagram page with a handwritten note that reads revised lyrics to “Halo.”

“Gravity can’t begiiiiiiiin to pull me out of the fan again. I felt my hair was yankiiiiiiiin,” she wrote. “From the fan thats always hattiiiiiin.”

Beyonce's note

This isn’t the first time Beyonce went to perform her duty as an entertainer even though disaster had struck.

While she was still part of the Destiny’s Child trio, an incident occurred in which she was performing on stage with the girls when Michelle fell down. Instead of stopping to help her bandmate, she just went on performing as if nothing happened. Kelly, on the other hand, looked torn between doing her duty as a friend or as a singer.
