‘Castle’ Season 7 New Episode Updates: Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion Confronting Old Villain; Tamala Jones Says Viewers Would ‘Think Someone Died’ (Spoilers)

“Castle” Season 7 is taking a short break. There is no new episode this week, and the series will return with Episode 13 on Feb. 2, according to reports. Other spoiler reports indicate Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic, lead stars of the series, are facing an old villain in an upcoming February episode. Meanwhile, Tamala Jones teases viewers about the February episodes.

In “Castle” Season 7, Episode 13, believed to be airing Feb. 2 on ABC, “Castle unexpectedly witnesses the murder of his client by her husband,” TV.com reported. The next episode, supposedly airing Feb. 9, is set to bring back an old villain. The actress playing Beckett's (Stana Katic) best friend teases the fans about what happens next.

“You’re going to cry, you’re going to think someone died,” Tamala Jones, who plays Lanie Parish, was quoted by TVLine in this report. She added, “Your mind and your heart are going to be one.”

Beckett helps Castle (Nathan Fillion) get a real client in “Castle” 7, Episode 12. It turns out Castle’s client is a person of interest in Beckett’s latest case. This brings Castle back to NYPD, helping out the 12th Precinct catch the week’s bad guy. In the next episodes, reports imply that Castle, P.I. will be consulting on at least one more case.

Jones also hinted at some “emotionally driven” developments that will affect Stana Katic’s character Beckett in Castle 7x14 and 7x15. The second part of the February special is expected to air Feb. 16.

Meanwhile, Terri Edda Miller, a “Castle” writer (and wife of series creator Andrew W. Marlowe) is teasing her Twitter followers with some production insights on Castle 7x16.

“Love that everyone seems to be having so much fun on 716 (Castle Season 7, Episode 16),” tweets Miller. She says in another tweet, “We have the greatest guest cast on 716.”

“Castle” Season 7, Episode 13, airs Feb. 2 on ABC, according to TV.com. The site has yet to publish updates on the succeeding episodes.
