Born February 20, 1967 as Donald Cobain; Kurt is known as the lead singer, guitarist and primary songwriter of the famous grunge band Nirvana. After he broke out from rehab, Cobain's body was found on April 8, 1994 at his Lake Washington home by an electrician named Gary Smith. He was supposed to install a security system but found Kurt instead with blood coming out of his ear. He thought that the rock star was asleep until he saw the shotgun pointing at his chin and found a note addressed to Cobain's childhood imaginary friend "Boddah." Cobain died on April 4, 1994, a few days before his body was discovered.

His Swedish girlfriend, Anna Wohlin, was convinced that he still had a pulse when he was taken out of the pool. The coroner's final verdict was "death of misadventure", he noted that Jones liver and heart were heavily enlarged by drug and alcohol abuse.
