'Game of Thrones' season 7 spoilers & cast updates: New major characters revealed include a 'young lord,' a 'warrior' and more

“Game of Thrones” (GOT) Season 7 is currently in development and new casting information revealed that there will be a variety of heroes coming to Westeros, including the final major character. There are no specific names yet, but only generic titles, but these should give “Game of Thrones” fans some ideas about how the plot will move in the new season.

There will be a general, 40 to 55 years old. He is a senior military officer, white, with a British RP accent. He should be cast for the week of Sept. 6, 2016. Shooting will reportedly happen in October.

“Game of Thrones” needs a gate guard in his 20’s, described as confident, characterful, straight-talking with a great face. The gate guard will appear in various scenes and has to be witty and charismatic. He should film in “Game of Thrones” from October to November.

Other “Game of Thrones” characters in the casting list include a city guard, a merchant in Essos, a lovely lady who is willing to go full nude, a young lord with an RP accent and a lieutenant who is most likely Dothraki.

The young lord being cast may be Rhaegar Targaryen himself, Daenerys’ older brother and son of the Mad King Aerys. Rhaegar is also rumored to be the father of Jon Snow and lover of Lyanna. Rhaegar was killed by Robert Baratheon during the war, so the character, who is required to be in his 20s, may appear in a flashback, and finally reveal the secret behind Jon’s parentage.
