“Grimm” Season 5 filming kicks off soon based on a Twitter update posted by David Giuntoli, who plays the central character, Nick Burkhardt. Spoilers have been scarce as to the premiere episode’s script, but some fans are hoping there is still more for Bitsie Tulloch’s Juliette Silverton.

Spoiler alert: This update contains “Grimm” Season 4 spoilers. Read on at your own risk if you have not watched the previous season.

In one of his latest tweets, Giuntoli told fans that “Grimm” Season 5 filming was set to begin mid-June; he later corrected this to sometime in the fourth week of June. The update got over two thousand likes and retweets. Big changes are expected in the show’s next season, because Nick lost two important women in his life in the fourth season finale.

Juliette is dead,” “Grimm” co-creator and showrunner Jim Kouf told TVLine shortly after the Season 4 finale aired on NBC. Kouf and co-creator David Greenwalt both told the entertainment site the same thing – it is the end for Juliette’s story. Still, fans are hoping Season 5 would show the continuation of Juliette's storyline.

In the final moments of “Grimm” Season 4, Juliette refuses to go with the king to wherever he intended to take Diana. She goes back to Nick’s house, and he tries to kill her. Juliette begs for death. But later, she mocks her ex-fiancé for not being able to do so. Just when she is about to kill him, Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni) comes right on time to fire arrows on her chest.

The interview with showrunners implied there is little to zero possibility that Bitsie Tulloch would return for “Grimm” Season 5. Greenwalt told The Hollywood Reporter it is “a big twist.” In the meantime, however, Tulloch is attending events related to “Grimm,” like the Monte-Carlo Television Festival (as seen on Twitter).
