Nintendo’s “Hyrule Warriors” was released on the Wii U a couple of months back, and it received positive reviews from fans of the “Legend of Zelda” series for its innovation from the franchise. Months later, Nintendo announced that it will release a 3DS port of the game, and next month, those in Japan will have access to a limited edition New 3DS XL based on the series.

The Hyrule Edition New Nintendo 3DS XL looks to be a must-have for any die-hard “Legend of Zelda” fans. The device itself features a gold plating with a logo of the Tri-Force that fans should be familiar with. Aside from the limited edition handheld, fans will also be given a special code for “Hyrule Warriors Legends,” Nintendo Insider reports.

The special code included in the Hyrule Edition New Nintendo 3DS XL will unlock a costume for “Hyrule Warriors Legends.” The costume is for Link, and it’s his classic tunic. This costume was made available as a downloadable content for the Wii U version of “Hyrule Warriors.” It was inspired by the costume of Link in 1986’s “The Legend of Zelda.” In addition to this, players can also dress their fairies in the classic tunic using the new My Fairy mode.

It is worth noting that “Hyrule Warriors Legends” will not come pre-installed in the limited edition 3DS XL. However, both the game and the handheld will launch on Jan. 21..

Meanwhile, the HD version of “Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess” for the Wii U is once again available on Amazon, Nintendo Everything reports. The game comes with an amiibo featuring Midna riding Wolf Link. Preorders can now be made at Amazon, and fans should act fast as it could go out of stock anytime soon.
