Johnny Depp Visits His Mother in ICU

Hollywood actor, Johnny Depp, has now taken the role of a concerned son. However, this role is not for a big Hollywood movie production.

This happens to be a real life role because the "Dark Shadows" actor was spotted going inside the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Sunday night as he visited his hospitalized mother.

According to a source, Johnny Depp's mother is currently in the hospital's respiratory Intensive Care Unit. Betty Sue Palmer is now being treated after being rushed to the hospital in her son's limousine. However, the 49-year old actor's representatives could not be reached for a statement. The reason why Johnny Depp's mother was hospitalized has not been clear nor identified yet.

This could be another trial in life for the talented actor after his surprising split from Vanessa Pardis, his long-time partner of 14 years and the mother of his kids, 13-year old Lily Rose and 10-year old Jack. It has been recently reported that Johnny Depp wants model and singer Vanessa Paradis back in his life that he even flew all the way to the South of France just to patch things up with her.

Johnny Depp and his 77-year old mother are claimed to be very close with each other. In fact, she is always on his side and always present at every award show and red carpet premiere that the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor attends.

Depp even had his mother's name tattooed on his arm that clearly shows the depth of his love for his beloved mother. Fans of the actor will surely support him now that he is going through tough times in his life: trying to win back the woman that he loves and taking care of his sick mother.
