Kate Middleton will be closing off the year with another accolade under her belt. The Duchess of Cambridge has been named as Most Stylish Woman of 2015.

Princess Kate may not have been as visible to the public this year as compared to previous years given the birth of her daughter, Princess Charlotte, but Prince William’s wife still landed at the top of Alicia Kay Style’s survey, Mirror reported. One in three women surveyed by Alicia Kay Style stated that Princess Kate was the most stylish woman of 2015.

Alicia Kay Style’s Alicia Kite attributed the Duchess of Cambridge’s new accolade to her “classic style” which helped make her a fashion icon. “She knows how to make the most of her wardrobe,” Kite added. “She also reworks her existing outfits to make them appropriate for different occasions."

The royal mother of two has been known to reuse dresses worn in previous occasions over the years. Most recently, the Duchess of Cambridge wore her red Alexander McQueen dress during her visit to the Anna Freud Centre Family School Christmas Party held on Tuesday, Dec. 15, in London. According to People magazine, Tuesday’s event was the third time that Princess Kate wore the red dress.

The first was in June 2012, when she attended the event held in honour of Queen Elizabeth II’s 60th anniversary as reigning royalty. She partnered the Alexander McQueen dress with a red hat, a red clutch, brooch and a tartar scarf. The second time she wore the red designer dress was in February 2014 when she attended a reception for British film stars held at the Buckingham Palace.

Meanwhile, the royal family’s latest picture also showed Princess Kate’s casual style as she wore dark blue jeans and a light blue long-sleeved top, while she carried Princess Charlotte on her knee. Kensington Palace shared the royal family picture in its Twitter page with a message that read, “A new family photo - Merry Christmas from The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

In the family picture, Princess Charlotte wore a pink dress and cardigan, while Prince William and son Prince George both had blue-coloured shirts. The four were all smiles in the picture, which was taken on a lawn with a small red toy wagon in front of royal family.
