Fans of the royal couple, Kate Middleton and Prince William, will finally have their chance to sneak a peek at probably one of the highlights during their royal wedding. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding menu will reportedly be among the rare memorabilia that will be put up for sale next week.

A breakfast menu from Kate Middleton and Prince William’s April 29, 2011 royal wedding is just among the historical mementos of the royal family that will reportedly be auctioned off. A rare signed photograph of Queen Victoria, a photo of 4-year-old Prince Charles with his sister Anne and a telegram announcing Prince Charles’ birth are said to be among the other historic royal possessions to be put on sale next week according to Mail Online.

The wedding breakfast menu, a photo of which is shared by the site online, revealed guests to Prince William and Kate Middleton’s royal wedding were treated to a grand feast of seafood and lamb. For starters, the menu showed the guests had marinated South Uist salmon, Lyme Bay crab and wild Hebridean langoustines complimented with a serve of a 2009 Meursault.

For the main course, the wedding menu revealed guests were served Saddle of North Highland Mey select organic lamb. The lamb also came with a side serving of greens including Highgrove Spring vegetables, English asparagus, Jersey Royal potatoes and Sauce Windsor. Guests also enjoyed a 2004 Pomerol with their meal.

Kate Middleton and Prince William’s wedding breakfast ended with a sweet serving of desert which consists of a trio of Berkshire honey ice cream, sherry trifle and chocolate parfait, washed down with Laurent Perrier Rose champagne. Based on the breakfast menu, the guests were also serve with coffee or fresh mint tea after.

According to Mail Online, the Duke and Duchess’ breakfast wedding menu, as well as the other historic royal items, will be sold at Reeman Dansie’s Royal memorabilia sale in Colchester on Feb 17. According to auctioneer James Grinter, the items that will be put up on sale came from Jim Hanson’s extraordinary collections of royal memorabilia. Hanson reportedly started focusing his attention to collecting royal memorabilia, from trading and exhibiting stamps, in the 1970s until years before his death.

Kate Middleton and Prince William’s royal wedding was a worldwide sensation when it was broadcasted on TV on April 29, 2011. Various personalities from David Beckham and wife Victoria, Elton John and other members of the British Royal family were there to witness the couple exchange vows at Westminster Abbey. According to Huffington Post, a total of 1,900 guests were invited to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding.
