Kate Middleton set to go into business with Pippa Middleton, plans to launch organic food line
Kate Middleton may be adding another feather to her cap, as she is said to be looking at becoming a businesswoman alongside sister Pippa Middleton.
The Duchess of Cambridge has been busy balancing several roles such as a mother to Prince George and Princess Charlotte, a wife to Prince William and attending various royal engagements. There are also many functions that she attends and the charity work that she does. However, Princess Kate wants to add an entrepreneurial part to her many roles and is thinking of launching an organic food line with Pippa, according to Vanity Fair.
The report went on to state that the Middleton sisters are looking to turn their cooking hobby into a business. The two are said to be trying out recipes and smoothies at Princess Kate’s home kitchen at Anmer Hall. The Duchess of Cambridge, who developed an interest in organic food, has been using the produce from her garden in Norfolk for Princess Charlotte’s baby food and also prepares Prince George’s meals, reveals a Vanity Fair source.
“Kate prepares all of Prince George’s meals and she has been blending fruits and vegetables grown at Anmer for Princess Charlotte,” the insider told Vanity Fair. “She and Pippa are thinking about launching their own line of organic baby food as well as a range of nourishing ready meals for adults. At the moment it’s a bit of a pipe dream, but they are both really into organic produce.”
The Vanity Fair source also shared that Pippa is “keen” to use learnings from her food nutrition course. The insider went on to state how the Duchess of Cambridge thinks there is a “gap in the market for home-grown, organic baby food.” This had Pippa thinking that the two of them should launch their organic food line, the Vanity Fair source explained.
It is still unclear when the Middleton sisters plan to start their business venture and if they will push ahead with their plans. Regardless when it will be, the sisters may be able to count on the support of their parents.
Meanwhile, having supportive parents was also one of the points that Princess Kate stated in her speech during a Place2Be Head Teacher School Conference, according to Hello!magazine. During the event, the royal mother of two shared that she was “lucky” that she had parents and teachers who helped to provide her a “wonderful and secure childhood.”
In her speech, the Duchess of Cambridge also stressed on the importance of giving children and young people the attention, love and support they deserve in order to “provide a strong foundation for their future."
