There have been persistent rumours that Tom Cruise's ex-wife Katie Holmes has been dating the 48-year-old actor Jamie Foxx. Some reports even insist the two are engaged. However, there has been no official confirmation from either party.

“It is not all rosy. They have very real fears of Katie’s ex, Tom, and his reaction,” an insider from Inquisitr said. It was supposedly the reason why the 37-year-old actress and the Marvel movie star had kept their relationship on the low the whole time. When photos of Jamie and Katie holding hands came out in March 2015, they both reportedly panicked. The fear was reportedly due to their concern for Katie and Tom's daughter, Suri.

Katie's 53-year-old ex-husband has not said anything about her new life with Jamie. According to rumours, Katie is terrified that Tom might bring the case to court and cause problems for Jamie's children as well.

Radar Online reported that Katie and her daughter were spotted spending time together at Jamie's mansion in Hidden Hills, Los Angeles. They were reported to have stayed there around the last week of June.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight host Nancy O'Dell on May 6, Jamie denied the dating rumours and said that he was "just friends" with Katie. (Watch the video of the interview below.) He also said that the photo of them holding hands in a previous interview was "just a mere friendly gesture." The interview also highlighted his song entitled "You Changed Me" from his album "Hollywood: A Story of a Dozen Roses."
