Numerous fans of Ke$Ha and Pitbull will be really disappointed to find out that the musicians' 2013 Australian tour has been canceled. But, before these fans get angry at the two artists for their wasted tickets, a report was sent out that tickets will be refunded for those who have already bought them.

The news came straight from the horse's mouth, so to speak. According to rapper Pitbull, their concert promoter Dainty Group decided to cancel the tour, which includes a performance with singer Ke$Ha.

Pitbull announced the sad news in Twitter on Friday, Oct. 11, 2013.

"The promoter is cancelling the Australian Tour, refunds will be available at point of purchase. We hope to return to Australia soon. Thanks," the rapper tweeted.

Meanwhile, Ke$ha herself expressed her disappointment over the cancellation of the Australian Tour with Pitbull. She retweeted Pitbull's message on her Twitter account. She also tweeted her own message to her Aussie fans.

"I'm so so bummed that our Aussie tour was cancelled!! Aussie animals, I love you very much and im working out how to come see you gain asap (sic)!" said Ke$Ha.

Concert promoter Dainty Group didn't provide details as to why the tour was cancelled. They only posted a message on their Web site saying "Dainty Group regret to advise the cancellation of the 2013 Pitbull and Ke$ha Australian tour. Both artists hope to return to Australia in the not too distant future."

According to contactmusic.com, Pitbull and Ke$Ha will no longer perform on their scheduled concerts in the key cities of Australia including Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Hindmarsh and Burswood.

Regarding ticket refunds, Dainty Group also said that patrons who purchased tickets using their credit cards do not need to take any action because they will be automatically refunded. But for those who bought tickets with electronic funds transfer at point of sale (eftpos) or cash, they must post their tickets back to Ticketek and include a small note outlining their request to get a full cheque refund.

For Ticketek locations, check out their Web site.

Ke$ha and Pitbull's 2013 Australian Tour was supposed to begin on Oct. 30, 2013 in Brisbane. Despite the unfortunate news, both of them are still hoping to go back to Australia soon.
