Kardashian-Jenner clan matriarch Kris Jenner is so proud of her kids. She is always very vocal and never misses an opportunity to praise her children’s achievements on her social media sites. This week, Kris proudly sang praises for her son-in-law Kanye West on a couple of posts but she received a lot of criticism for calling him her son.

Kris posted a video clip of Kanye and his daughter North West with the song “Only You” playing in the background. The song was written by Kanye and was meant to be the words of his mother singing through him to his daughter. Kris captioned the clip: “So proud of my son, Kanye West ❤ what a beautiful song!

Kanye, became part of the Kardashian-Jenner clan in May last year when he married one of Kris’ daughters, Kim Kardashian. North is their only child and one of Kris Jenner’s grandchildren. In her caption, she opted to drop the “in-law” part of the label and decided to simply call him her son. The label resulted in a lot of negative comments from her followers online. Some fans questioned why she is calling Kanye her son and compared her treatment of him to her biological son Rob.

Several netizens threw shade at Kris for calling Kanye her son and said that she should be paying more attention to her real son Rob. Comments included: “isn’t Rob your son, not Kanye?”, “Worst mother in the world.” and “Her son? Lol sooo shes black?”

Some other fans came to her defence and pointed out that she never said anything negative towards Rob. Incidentally, she had also just posted a video clip of Rob’s sock company, Arthur George, as it was being featured in Good Morning America.

A few days later, Kris called Kanye her son again when she posted a photo of his performance during the Direct TV Pre-Super Bowl Bash with Rihanna. She has since deleted that post. In its place, she has now posted a photo of her real son Rob Kardashian’s Valentine’s Day collection for Arthur George socks. Kris has not made any comment about the reason why she deleted the Kanye West post nor did she confirm if there is any connection with the negative comments and her subsequent posting of Rob Katdashian’s products.
