The Lenovo A3690 is a 4G midrange smartphone from the company. It is available with a low price tag of US$115 (AU$152).

The Lenovo A3690 features a 5-inch IPS screen that supports an HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It supports a pixel density of 294 ppi.

It is powered by a MediaTek MTK6735 chipset that includes a Cortex A53 quad-core processor that clocks at 1.0 GHz. It is accompanied by Mali-T720 graphics. The chipset is supported by 1 GB of RAM. The SoC not only consumes less power but also delivers smooth performance while multi-tasking.

The handset comes with an inbuilt storage capacity of 8 GB. The external storage supports up to 32 GB of microSD card. The camera present on the rear panel is of 8 MP whereas the front-facing camera is of 2 MP. It is a dual-SIM handset that comes preloaded with Android 5.1 Lollipop.

For connectivity, the phone comes with features like v4.0 Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G and 4G. It is packed with a battery of 2,300 mAh capacity.

The device measures 141 x 7.1 x 8.8 mm and it weighs 140 grams. It sports a metallic frame along with a chassis that does not accumulate fingerprint marks.

According to GSM Insider, the Lenovo A3690 was approved by TENNA telecommunication regulatory body in June this year. The device is currently available in China and has been not released officially in other countries. However, the handset shipped can be purchased by buyers across the world through third party retailers.

Gear Best has listed the handset in color options like black and white along with support for free shipping for global buyers. It is available on preorders starting from Oct. 19 with a pricing of US$115 (AU$158). The presale will end on Oct. 30.
