Rugby league footballer Nick Youngquest is earning more in his modeling profession, according to Fox Sports. Youngquest, who used to play for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, Penrith Panthers and Crusraders RL. among many others during his National Rugby League (NRL) career, is reportedly earning as much as $10,000 a day as a model.

Youngquest gained popularity in the fashion industry during his time as a professional rugby player. He has appeared on the cover of numerous magazines.

In the 2007-2008 Naked Rugby League Calendar, he posed completely unclothed with only one hand covering his private part. The proceeds of the calendar were donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. He also did campaigns for designer Paco Rabanne.

His modeling career was given a boost when he was discovered by David Todd, who has a model management company. Ever since then, Youngquest has been represented by Todd.

It was in the latter part of 2012 when Youngquest decided to pursue his modeling career. He moved to New York since then. He lives there with his wife Mira.

"I am doing better that when I was playing in the football field," said Youngquest. "I wouldn't say that I was the worst, but I was never the best on the field," he added. "I could have continued playing for a few more years but my heart was not with the game anymore so I chose to give modeling a go," he concluded.

Youngquest also revealed how it was hard for him to go away and run off from playing football. "It was daunting leaving football," he said. He last played for the Castleford Tigers of Europe's Super League. Some say that Youngquest played his best with the Tigers. He made a total for 40 appearances, scored 29 tries, and 2 goals during his stint with the Tigers.

Youngquest seems to be really enjoying his budding modeling career in New York. We wish him all the best.
