Octavia Spencer’s work on the movie franchise “Divergent,” enables her be surrounded with teen heartthrobs all the time, such as Ansel Elgort, Miles Teller, Theo James, and star Shailene Woodley. This is why she now has some great words to say about them.

Speaking with Page Six, she describes Ansel Elgort as a “little brother” to her. She also said she can see why Teller and James are considered hot by many. She also said Woodley needs to release her own cookbook, since she had the first-hand experience of what the young actress can whip up. Shailene gave her a banana coconut pie on her birthday.

This is not the only work of Octavia where she is surrounded by young stars. In the recently cancelled “Red Band Society,” she also worked with a lot of young stars, since the plot revolved around life inside the paediatric hospital ward.

Recently, she was bombarded with accusations and criticisms for being rude to young people and children during a Barnes & Noble Book signing at the Grove. She was there to promote her latest book, “Randi Rhodes Ninja Detective— the Sweetest Heist in History.” Eyewitnesses claimed that the star was just not making any effort to be nice to her fans, and was “mean, rude, and horrible” to everyone. An onlooker said that the whole event was uncomfortable because of Octavia’s attitude. “Octavia's answers were short and blunt and there were times she rolled her eyes to the back of her head like she couldn't believe someone could ask such a stupid question,” the onlooker detailed.

According to reports, Octavia’s unsavory behavior prompted many to line up and ask for refund on books. According to the onlooker, a parent was heard to have said, “If she talked to me or my child like that it would get really ugly in here so it's best we get our money back and go home before something jumps off.'"

Octavia was quick to deny all these allegations. She took to her Twitter and laughed the rumours off. She said it is highly unbelievable for her to be rude to children, especially if she is promoting her own book.
