Samsung’s Australia website is also expected to have the tablets in stock prior to the release of tablets on May 25.
According to a PC Advisor report, with a new 9.7″ screen and 4:3 aspect ratio, Samsung Galaxy Tab A matches the iPad Air and Air 2. It also comes with pre-installed apps like OneDrive, The Economist, Kindle for Samsung and other pre-installed Microsoft apps include Excel, One Note, PowerPoint and Skype, reports PC Advisor.
As the Galaxy Tab A runs Android Lollipop with refined user interface, it enables users to view upto five notification cards onscreen at a glance and take advantage from a simplified Contacts layout that puts users’ favourite list as the default view, according to the PC Advisor report. The new Kids mode allows parents to keep track of their kids’ activities on the device and it can allow upto six children to create their own user profile and customised Home screen.
