A city-building and urban planning simulation game developed by Maxis allows player to transform a land into a developed city, providing better quality life for Sims. The game is addicting and will eat significant amount of time without any possible end. But a list of codes are provided to make the mayor's life easier.

To activate the cheat codes, the player or mayor of the game must hold down the Control key or CTRL and press X. A box will pop-up where you will need to type in most cheat codes for SimCity 4.

1. Money Money Money
On the cheat box, type in "moneyeo" and hold SHIFT. Hit the ENTER key and press UP arrow for each time you wanted to get 10,000,000 Simoleons more.

2. I am the Power
To get rid of Power Requirements in the game, type in "fightthepower" on the cheat box.

3. Divine Intervention
God mode can be activated by press and holding CTRL + ALT + SHIFT and then click the "God mode" button. The tools will not be the post-establishment ones, but it will revert back to pre-city tools. The effect remains as long as your are under the God mode.

4. Brainwash
Click the query box on the Adviser screen and then select "X" on the bad or good messages.

5. Quick and Easy Money
If you like to gain money but not in greed, type in "weaknesspays" on the cheat box then hold the LEFT SHIFT key. Press ENTER, UP ARROW, ENTER and repeat the Up Arrow and Enter keys for 1,000 Simoleons each.

Notes:

a. To display this character ', simply press " and use backspace.

b. Under Empty Zone Colors, the green colour appears blue or yellow, depending on what you zone. When the code is active, these colours disappear but the zoning is still there. Repeat the code to disable its effect.

c. The Terrain Query code shows the x, y, z, cell x, and cell z values in the bubble. Move something and it will appear.
