"Star Wars VII" director J.J. Abrams' script is reportedly done already. According to Abrams, he also met with "Breaking Bad" star Jesse Plemons for a possible role in the Episode 7 flick.

J.J. Abrams was recently seen at the press tour of the Television Critics Association (TCA) on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014. Abrams attended the said event to promote his new science fiction/fantasy/adventure TV show in NBC called "Believe." This new NBC series was done in collaboration with Mexican director Alfonso Cuarón who is responsible for the films "Gravity," "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" and "Y Tu Mamá También."

When the reporters in Abrams' panel badgered him about "Star Wars VII," he said that they are already in deep prep for the movie.

"We're working really hard and we've got our script and we're in deep prep. Full steam ahead," said Abrams in a report by Entertainment Weekly (EW).

Abrams was also asked how long will the new "Star Wars" movie be. He didn't go into specifics but he had this to say:

"I promise you it will be movie length," said Abrams in the EW report.

The "Star Wars VII" director said that he will shoot Episode 7 on film, but he won't do IMAX scenes because he thinks it's a slow, unreliable and very loud camera that will make it hard to film certain scenes, especially intimate ones. But, he also mentioned that there will be digital versions of "Star Wars VII" that's why there's still a possibility of seeing the film on IMAX theatres in the future.

Abrams confirmed that he did meet up with "Breaking Bad" star Jesse Plemons.

"He is one of the actors that we've talked to," Abrams said in the report by EW.

According to The Wrap, 25-year-old Plemons who also appeared in the TV show "Friday Night Lights" just might end up playing a lead role in "Star Wars VII." It is speculated that he might portray Luke Skywalker's son if ever he passes the auditions.

However, when asked about directing the next "Star Wars" films after Episode 7, Abrams was mum about it and just said that he is only focusing on "Star Wars VII" right now.

Even if "Star Wars VII" director J.J. Abrams has already said that the Episode 7 script is done and has also confirmed meeting up with "Breaking Bad" star Jesse Plemons, there will be more rumours and speculations about the highly anticipated "Star Wars" film. Who else will audition and finally star in the next "Star Wars" films? Will it be a virtual unknown, a relative newcomer or an established star already? Until there are actual confirmations from the official "Star Wars" people including J.J. Abrams, George Lucas and producer Kathleen Kennedy, all we can do is wait for further news about it.
