Country crooner, Taylor Swift is allegedly dating Matthew Gray Gubler. While this isn't the least shocking for "Swifties", what may take them by surprise are Swift's true feelings for the actor. Sources claim that Swift is "nuts" for Matthew. Is this even a good sign for the "Criminal Minds" star?

The National Enquirer was the first to publish the news about Swift's new affair. "Man-hungry Taylor Swift's got a 'Criminal Mind'" declared the headline. All thanks to Swift's July 4th party rumours of Taylor and Matthew dating started to circulate on the web albeit with a few exaggerations.

"She posted photographs from the party on her blog that showed her backup dancers, but Matthew's picture was conspicuously absent. It was as if Taylor was purposefully trying to keep his presence there on the downlow," stated the source.

"Taylor is nuts about Matthew," continued the source to the magazine, adding, "Taylor's trying to keep the whole relationship with Matthew secret for now. That's why she's saying they're 'just friends.' The truth is, she wants to get to know him better before they take the relationship public."

Representatives for Swift claim otherwise of course. Swift and Grubler are nothing but "friends" and nothing sort of romantic has ensued between them. The Enquirer is once again wrong about the news of Swift "nuts" over Matthew just like their other reports that Swift would wed Conor Kennedy by the end of 2012 and her "fling" with Justin Bieber.

As for Swift, the country crooner is the least bit interested in the rumours and more keen on the upcoming Video Music Awards. Swift has been nominated for two awards namely "Video of the Year" and "Best Female Video." In relation to that, Swift wasn't one to easily forget the Kanye West incident back in 2009.

"Two VMA nominations!!," tweeted Swift, adding, "If you vote and get us one, I promise to keep a firmer grip on the mic this time ;) ."

"Swifties" may recall the popular VMA incident where Kanye had grabbed the microphone from Swift and interrupted her speech claiming "Beyoncé should have won the award."
