Taylor Swift’s ‘Blank Space’ Racks Up Over 95 Million YouTube Hits; American Express Unstaged Taylor Swift App Released
After the success of "Shake It Off," Taylor Swift released a new single from her "1989" album titled "Blank Space." The music video of the new single was posted by TaylorSwiftVEVO on YouTube on Nov. 10 and has since been viewed more than 95 million times.
With over nine million TaylorSwiftVEVO subscribers, the "Blank Space" music video also received one million likes, which is significantly higher than its 46,000 dislikes.
Swift has recently performed "Blank Space" during the 2014 American Music Awards and on "The Voice," in which she currently serves as a knockout round special mentor.
While "Shake It Off" dropped from number one to number three on the Billboard Hot 100, the number one spot went to "Blank Space" keeping Meghan Trainor's "All About That Bass" on the second spot.
Accompanying the "Blank Space" music video is the recently released American Express Unstaged Taylor Swift app, which can be downloaded in the Google Play Store and on iTunes for free.
The app makes the "Blank Space" music video a 360-degree interactive experience and allows fans to follow the characters around the video with Swift's interviews, personal photos and behind-the-scenes footage.
Meanwhile, Swift is set to perform again as a musical guest with Ariana Grande at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show at Earl's Court in London on Dec. 2. Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio will be featured on the show, which will air on CBS on Dec. 9.
