10 Real Life Celeb Couples that Could Star in '50 Shades of Grey': From Pattinson & Stewart to Somerhalder & Dobrev [PHOTOS]
E.L. James' novel, "50 Shades of Grey" has got the world on an all new high.
Even A-list celebrities are hooked and a few have voiced excitement over playing the male lead, Christian Grey. Yet, casting would be a lot easier if real life Hollywood couples play the roles of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey. Who among the celebrity couples could play the BDSM-themed lovers?
Given that the novel is based on "Twilight", it would be just appropriate for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart to play the lead roles. Kristen Stewart did share her view on getting cast in the film
"It's funny - I heard about it yesterday. Rob [Pattinson] and Wyck [Godrey], our producer, were talking about it. I've heard it's quite sexy, very titillating," says Stewart.
"Vampire Diaries" star, Ian Somerhalder has also expressed his interest in playing the male lead, Christian Grey in an interview with Ryan Seacrest.
"Potentially. I absolutely would be up for that. I have the book and I just started reading it. That would be a pretty incredible thing, and hopefully that could pan out, I think," says Ian
"Yes, beyond the shadow of a doubt I think that would be a phenomenal opportunity!" shared the actor.
Ian Somerhalder's onscreen and off-screen beau, Nina Dobrev could most likely play the innocent, Anastasia Steele.
"True Blood's" Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin is another couple that could play in "50 Shades of Grey". Though Stephen Moyer is a bit too old for the role, make up done by the artists could dramatically make Moyer appear younger onscreen.
"Hunger Games" star, Jennifer Lawrence who has showed off incredible acting chops could also play Anastasia Steele. While other male actors could play opposite Jennifer, real life boyfriend, Nicholas Hoult would not only make casting choices easier but create believable chemistry.
Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield of "The Amazing Spiderman" is another couple that could star in E.L. James' "mommy porn". "Glee's" Cory Monteith and Lea Michelle, Chord Overstreet and Emma Roberts, Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus are just a few other Hollywood lovers that can also star in "50 shades of grey". Others would be Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively or Josh Dallas and Ginnifer Goodwin.
Well, with the film already in talks it's only a few more months before Lionsgate decides on the cast.
