'The 100' season 5 poster competition winner announced; Aussie fan wins with 'creepy' entry
“The 100” season 5 poster contest winner has been announced. The competition was open to everyone, and a winner has finally been selected. The entry is a terrifying reminder of how perilous life can be.
Cast member Lindsey Morgan (Raven Reyes) shared the winning poster (see picture below). There were numerous entries for the competition, with fans showcasing their talents in different ways. The quality of entries has pushed the fandom's creative limits, and the judge pointed out that it has been a tough decision to choose the winner.
The winner designed a digital skull with a red tattoo on the forehead on a black background. Some fans found the poster “creepy,” but they still appreciated the talent of the artist. A few fans were disappointed with the result, but a majority of the messages congratulated the winner, Aussie fan Karelia Moloney. Apart from “The 100,” the winner is also a fan of “The Originals” and “The Vampire Diaries.”
“Stoked to be announced as the winner of the #The100S5POSTERCOMP,” Moloney tweeted in response to the announcement. Karelia also thanked actress and judge Morgan as well as the writers of the TV series.
The season 4 finale teased the plot of the next season. While congratulating Moloney, fans expressed their eagerness to see what happens next on the show.
“The 100” season 5 is set to premiere in 2018. The exact release date is yet to be announced. The plot will focus on new prisoners arriving on Earth, brought down from space by a mysterious company. The story is set six years after a team from the planet reached the ARK in space.
