11-year-old NSW boy accuses 30-year-old Taiwanese man of rape during sports massage
Sexual assault on Australian boys continue long after the teen cadets aboard the HMAS Leeuwin were forced to engage in sodomy and fellatio. On Monday, an 11-year-old New South Wales boy complained that he was raped by a 30-year-old Taiwanese man while undergoing sports massage.
The rape allegedly happened on Saturday in Griffith, reports the Sydney Morning Herald. The Taiwanese man whom the boy identified would face sexual assault charges at the Griffith Local Court on Wednesday.
Detectives from the NSW Crime Command’s Child Abuse Squad conducted a probe after the boy told his mother what happened and the mum immediately called police. Authorities arrested the suspect on Saturday afternoon.
At the Griffith police station, the masseur was charged with two counts of having sexual intercourse with a child between the ages 10 and 14, and an aggravated indecent assault of a child under 16 years old. Because of the grave charges filed against the suspect, the masseur was denied bail.
Because of the body contact and the minimal, if not lack of clothing during massage sessions, several masseurs have recently been accused by female victims of rape.
Dispatch reports that in April, a 54-year-old massage therapist at Whitehall, William Pratt, was accused by several women of molesting them during their session. Pratt was charged with one count of rape and was detained at the Downtown jail. The women claimed Pratt rubbed his genitals on their hands and bodies, while one woman accuse him of attempting to perform oral sex on her.
In Sunshine Coast, a 38-year-old man was charged with rape after he allegedly lured a women to his house for a sports massage, Courier Mail reported in March. The accused initially befriended the 22-year-old alleged victim at a local gym and after he learned she was suffering from a sports injury, invited to his home at Coolum Beach where the digital attack allegedly occurred.
