Attendees of this year's PAX Australia can look forward to 13 games being present--though not all playable--at Ubisoft's panel at the event.

The roster of games will be showcased in stand 1536, and VG 24/7 gives a full list of these games.

Of the 13 games, only two are not playable, Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag and Watch Dogs, but both will be available at the Uplay Theater.

The playable games include Anno Online, Cloudberry Kingdom, Flashback, Just Dance 2014, Might & Magic Duel of Champions Online Card Game, Might & Magic Heroes Online, Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame, Rayman Jungle Run, Rayman Legends, The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot, The Settlers Online, and Splinter Cell: Blacklist.
Another bonus for attendees is that Ubisoft will be taking preorders of the game at their booth, and the purchase will slash off $10 from the original retail price.

World of Warcraft to get in-game store

For those who play World of Warcraft, the common way to get in-game items would be to purchase through the Pet Store, which exists outside of the game.

As this can be a hassle for some gamers, Polygon reports that Blizzard Entertainment is now developing a new system that allows for microtransactions to occur within the game.

"We think everyone would appreciate the convenience of being able to make such purchases without having to leave the game, and that's our long term goal for the system," said community manager Bashiok in a statement quoted by Polygon.

Part of the new system would be an experience buff and a new method to get Lesser Charms of Good Fortune, as these were some of those with high requests from players all over.

Beta testing of the in-game microtransactions will commence in Asia first.

Oculus Rift being tested for 2 games?

Virtual reality is really starting to seep into games, and the trend seems to be starting with the PC.

War Thunder from Gaijin Entertainment has been announced to support Oculus Rift, the virtual reality headset, according to GameSpot.

"When you take off and look down at the Cliffs of Dover, you can actually believe that they are below you while flying high in your aircraft," said Alexandr Polyakov, senior programmer for War Thunder, to GameSpot.

The game is still in open beta, and is also in development for an iOS and Android.

For now, PC seems to be the target platform on which Oculus Rift will be compatible. But the next step isn't in the platform, but lies mostly in the fact that Oculus Rift headsets are currently just the development kits, with pricing for public use still not announced.

Another game, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, has been snapped with a photo of its developers trying out the Oculus Rift with the game.

Polygon reports that a tweeted image showed producer Dave Cox with an Oculus Rift headset while playing with the PC version of the game. For the meantime, there has been no official announcement that VR support via Oculus Rift will be available for the game.
