13th 'Friday the 13th' In 2015 Will Bring Back Jason Voorhees To the Big Screen [Read the Full Story]
Are you ready to get scared? Paramount Pictures will be releasing the new "Friday the 13th" movie, on a Friday, March 13, 2015.
The terrifying hockey-masked villain lives on. The 2009 movie was a huge success and it all the more made people scared of Friday the 13th, which was why many were waiting for the next "Friday the 13th" movie that never materialized. All the eight movies were all a huge success.
The producers of the franchise have finally decided that maybe they should give it a go. The reason for the long wait was due to copy right issues between New Line, which is now part of Warner Bros and Paramount Pictures that own the rights to the original movies.
Paramount has gained full legal rights of the movie but only for five years. This is also the reason they are pushing for the release of the movie right away. Fans are wondering whether this would be a sequel to the first ever Friday the 13th movie that was released in 2009. Certainly the producers would make sure that everyone remembers who Jason Voorhees is and it's quite hard to forget a masked villain that makes his debut every Friday the 13th.
Fans around the world that have seen the original movie and the other movies that have a bit of Jason Voorhees have not forgotten the fear he brought about whenever the 13th fell on a Friday.
Paramount is surely going to make this a huge movie that many would be waiting to watch.
