The 15 Month Old Baby Angel Babcock Found Through Wreckage Left By Killer Tornadoes, Died in the Hospital
Deadly twisters left Americans waking up to an absolute devastation. Dozens of deadly tornadoes with an estimated speed of 165 miles per hour destroyed several properties in the Midwest and South states.
Initial reports said 95 tornadoes hit about ten states in the US on Friday. If reports were confirmed, this would be considered the greatest tornado day one-day event this March in all of history according to ABC News.
Countless business establishments including schools and other properties were ripped off by the killer storm. Several houses were wiped out including electric posts along the street.
A toddler in Indiana has been discovered and rescued from a field with overwhelming destruction brought by deadly tornadoes, but died on Sunday.
Angel Babcock, the name of the fifteen-month-old child, could have been the only survivor in the family. Her parents and siblings died after their mobile home got ripped by the storm last Friday.
She was rushed to Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville at Friday night. She was able to open her eyes according to the Cis Gruebbel, chief nursing officer, but wasn't able to survive until Sunday.
Her brain started swelling and never showed any kind of improvement. Her eyes stopped moving and her condition was just getting worse.
Her brain isn't working anymore. The medical staff has told the family about the condition and so everyone has decided to remove the life support.
ABC News reported that there were at least 29 deaths discovered after the destructive storm. That would be around 13 in Indiana, 14 in Kentucky and 2 in Ohio.
Angel has been reunited with her parents," her grandfather, Jack Brough, said in a statement. "We want to thank God for all of you and for your thoughts and prayers. God will bring you and all of us out of this. This is what it will take. All should look to God."
The number of casualties was expected to rise while locals and rescuers were checking on the areas seriously hit by shocking tornadoes.
