One Direction's Harry Styles is now back in Los Angeles after he was photographed attending the annual Sundance Film Festival in Utah. But the young Brit did not know that his picture was being used to promote a gay club in Australia, banking for his popularity and the band's huge fan base.

The 19-year-old singer's face is posted all over the world but this will be the first time that his picture was illegally used to promote a club. But this is not just any club but a club aimed for dykes, queens and queers which is located on the streets of Melbourne, Australia.

The party is suitably called the "Closet party" as it features 1D's Harry Styles photo softy airbrushed to promote the $10 before midnight entrance fee. Harry and his management were not informed about this publicity and did not give any authorization for the club to use the image for advertising the "gay disco."

The ad reads: Fri. 07 February 10PM Till Late. Come out, come out, wherever You Are. First Floor 393 Brunswick Street Fitzroy. 10 Dollars before Midnight. For Homosexuals and Those Who Love Them.

This recent ad also sparked Styles' sexuality issues when he was repeatedly questioned over his close relationship with Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw. Styles clarified the issue during an interview with GQ magazine in September 2013 saying: "We're not dating, no. We're just friends."

"Bisexual? Me? I don't think so. I'm pretty sure I'm not," clarifies Styles.

But that's not all, after clarifying the sexuality issues on September the singer was forced to deny having a fling with fellow bandmate Louis Tomlinson. Media was having a field with the issue after a photo of them kissing was leaked in an Australian tabloid.

Harry's representative declined to comment about the black and white poster, or whether his camp would take action against the club for its illegal use of the photo. Styles is not the only celebrity being used by the club, Golden Globe winner Jennifer Lawrence, John Travolta, Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney and Jodie Foster photos was used to advertise past events.
