2012 Grammys Is Filled With The Most Intrigue and Sensational Controversies
Majority of the things that were most anticipated for the Grammy Awards this year include a lot of intrigue that have nothing to do with who will bring home the bacon. This became more true with the recent passing of the music icon, Whitney Houston.
According to Neil Portnow, the Recording Academy President and CEO, regardless of all the drama, music still remained to be the main highlight of the night's show which aired live over at CBS.
One thing is for sure, 2012 is a year of exciting things to happen especially in the field of music.
Adele was nominated for all the primary categories of the night due to her bestselling album '21' which includes her top song 'Rolling in the Deep' up for the win for song and record of the year. Everyone knows that this is her first main performance after having gone through a serious vocal cord surgery.
Then there are also the musicians who did not feel so bad about the decision of the Academy to cut awards, who promised that they would do a protest right outside the venue of the event which is the Staples Centre.
Ex-couple in the R&B genre, Rihanna and Chris Brown, is much talked about for the possible reunion of the two even if they will not be performing together but will both be present for the night. Everyone remembers how Rihanna was attacked by Brown before the Grammy awards last 2009.
And the rest of the Beach Boys members all set for their grand reunion. Which Grammy event can be more intriguing than this year's?
