The FIBA Americas Championship is starting to heat up after two days of elite level basketball action. On Sunday, Canada and Brazil will try to return to winning column while Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico look to keep their immaculate record in the tournament.
Canada vs. Brazil (11:30 pm)
Coming off a 83-67 loss to an experienced Puerto Rican team on Day 2, Canada will attempt to bounce back quickly as they face Brazil, which also fell to Puerto Rico 72-65 on the opening day of competition.
Canada is expected to rely on their young core of NBA players such as Andrew Nicholson, Tristan Thompson and Corey Joseph, while Brazil will lean on veteran baller Marcelo Huertas.
Uruguay vs. Puerto Rico (8:00 pm)
The second game will feature the battle of the undefeated between Puerto Rico and Uruguay. The Puerto Ricans are off to a strong start after winning their first two assignments, while Uruguay guns for two wins in a row, following their 68-66 win over Jamaica.
IBT Sports will also be providing live streaming of a couple FIBA Euro Basket warmup games: Lithuania vs. Georgia and Estonia vs. Bulgaria.
