2013 International Emmy Awards: Winners & Nominees

The 41^st International Emmy Awards recently revealed its lists of winners in a gala held in New York City on Nov. 25. Presented by the International Academy of Television Arts & Science, the annual International Emmy Awards presents the best of television programs produced, and initially aired, outside the U.S.

The award giving body is composed of over 50 countries and 500 companies from all sectors of television that includes mobile, Internet and technology. Founded in 1969, the Academy aims to promote excellence in international television programming and provide 20 program categories for the international awards.

These categories includes Arts Programming, Best Performance By an Actor, Best Performance by an Actress, Comedy, Current Affairs, Digital Program, Children & Young People, Animation and Non-Scripted Entertainment just to name a few.
