2013 Miss Universe - Philippines Ariella Arida, who is considered as the front runner in the 62nd edition of the most coveted beauty pageant in the world, appeared to be not included in the top-5 based on the preliminary scores, which was reportedly leaked online with still over a week to go before the finale.

According to Missosology, the scores were unintentionally posted by one of the preliminary judges on her Instagram account. The preliminary scores are supposedly kept secret until the coronation night, but 2010 Miss Universe Canada Elena Semikina reportedly took a photo of the scores and uploaded it on her Instagram account, triggering debates among pageant followers on the validity of the photo.

"Elena Semikina somehow inadvertently made public the preliminary scores. Missosology cannot verify its authenticity but it seems like an official score sheet from Miss Universe. The post on the instagram has been removed since. It is still unknown whether the scores are already the aggregate," via Missosology.org

No Philippine in the Top-5

Despite winning the Glam Shot portion, Miss Philippines is nowhere to be found in the top-5 of contenders based on the list allegedly leaked online.

Arida, widely recognized as one of the strongest contenders in this year' pageant as far as betting trends and online interest is concerned, landed at no.12 on the list behind the representatives from the United States and the Netherlands, who placed 11th and 10th respectively. Great Britain surprisingly topped the list while contenders from Spain, Poland, Ukraine and Venezuela rounded out the top-5.

Here's the 'reported' top-13 contestants after rounds of preliminary scoring

1. Great Britain

2. Spain

3. Poland

4. Ukraine

5. Venezuela

6. Russia

7. ?

8. ?

9. ?

10. Netherlands

11. USA

12. Philippines

13. Brazil

Other than Semikina, the 2013 Miss Universe preliminary judges are: Alicia Quarles (E! News correspondent), Corrine Nicolas (modeling manager), David Perozzi (award winning TV journalist), Gabriel Rivera-Barraza (PR and marketing manager), Irina Agalarova (businesswoman), and Jose Sariego (Senior Vice President of Telemundo media).

Again, the authenticity of the list is under scrutiny as hoax is expected to bob out of nowhere at this stage of the pageant. However, if this proves to be true, the Philippines' three-year run in the top-5 of Miss Universe might soon come to an end.
