Miss Philippines and Miss USA, which are considered as the front runners for the 62nd edition of the Miss Universe, are reportedly out in the top-5 based on the preliminary scores sheet, which was reportedly leaked online by accident with still roughly a week to go before pageant night.

According to Missosology, one of the preliminary round judges accidentally leaked the scores along with the standings of the contestants online.

Elena Semikina, who won the Miss Universe Canada in 2010, reportedly snapped a photo of the scores sheet and then uploaded it on her Instagram account.

Semikina removed the photo from her account, but the damage has been done as the alleged preliminary round scores sheet began to circulate in the Internet, triggering widespread debates among pageant followers on the validity of the scores sheet.

"Elena Semikina somehow inadvertently made public the preliminary scores. Missosology cannot verify its authenticity but it seems like an official score sheet from Miss Universe. The post on the instagram has been removed since. It is still unknown whether the scores are already the aggregate," via Missosology.org

No Philippine, USA in the Top-5

Based on betting trends and online interest, Miss Philippines is emerging as the top contender for the 2013 Miss Universe crown. However, the 'leaked' scores sheet reportedly showed that Ariella Arida is only good for the 12th spot after the preliminary rounds of competitions.

Miss Philippines, who already won the best in Glam Shot award, found herself behind the representatives from Netherlands (10th) and the United States (11th), who was also considered a strong contender based on her 7/1 odds across different betting bookmakers.

Great Britain, who has 50/1 chance of winning the title, surprisingly topped the list while contenders from Spain, Poland, Ukraine and Venezuela rounded out the top-5.

Top-12 of the 'Leaked' List

Great Britain (1st), Spain (2nd), Poland (3rd), Ukraine (4th), Venezuela (5th), Russia (6th). Netherlands stands at 10th, USA at 11th, Philippines at 12th while Brazil at 13th.

The 2013 Miss Universe preliminary round judges are: Semikina (Miss Universe Canada 2010), Alicia Quarles (E! News correspondent), Corrine Nicolas (modeling manager), David Perozzi (award winning TV journalist), Gabriel Rivera-Barraza (PR and marketing manager), Irina Agalarova (businesswoman), and Jose Sariego (Senior Vice President of Telemundo media).

Once again, the authenticity of the list remains under scrutiny as hoax and trolls are expected to appear at this particular stage of the pageant. However, if the list proves to be true, then it only means that the world is in for a 'big surprise' with contenders from the Philippines and USA out of the elites in Miss Universe 2013.
