Channing Tatum showed off his dancing skills at the 2013 Oscars but not in a "Magic Mike" way. The 32-year-old hunky actor performed an elegant dance segment with actress Charlize Theron while Seth MacFarlane sang "The Way You Look Tonight" at the prestigious awards show held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

The "Magic Mike" star even posted a message to the fans with the use of his Twitter account @channingtatum about the 2013 Oscars dance performance. Channing wrote: "Hope you like what we've been working on. Getting ready to hit the #Oscars stage! Wish me luck!"

On the other hand, Charlize Theron admitted that she was kind of tricked into the dance performance with Channing Tatum. The 37-year-old actress revealed to E!News that she really had no idea what she was getting herself into.

"I was sort of tricked into it. I thought it was going to be something smaller, like he pulls me up from the audience and we do a little spin. But then he was like, 'Rehearsals start Monday!'" Theron shared.

The "Snow White and The Huntsman" villainess further admitted that her dance performance at the 2013 Oscars stage was "completely nerve-wracking" but she still made it through with the help of her dancing partner. "How could I not dance with Channing Tatum? He's so wonderful!" the actress exclaimed.

Meanwhile, Charlize Theron declared she does not have any regret cutting off her long blonde hair with her current super short hairstyle. "It's the most freeing thing, I highly recommend it. I think every woman should do it," the actress told TV host Ryan Seacrest during an interview on the 2013 Oscars red carpet.
