Roger Federer

With a lot of young tennis players around this time, the possibility of Federer winning is not so clear. He may get at the semifinals round or maybe even do better as he remains to be a classic act in a sport he is considered a master. A good draw can certainly help him reach the finals.

Rafael Nadal

With his weak knees, Nadal is predicted by most to reach just the semifinals level. He has won the French Open title for this year, but was beaten in just the first round of Wimbledon. He may not be too competitive in the hard courts, especially with Murray and Djokovic around but with is initial efforts, it seems he wants to prove something big for this year's U.S. Open.

Andy Murray

He is predicted to win if he beats Federer or Nadal when he reaches the semi finals but if not, he might just end up as runner up. However, even if he wins or not, Murray has proven an amazing performance as a competitive tennis player with the recent year being amazing for his tennis career. In fact, his first major win was in 2012's U.S. Open. He may have skipped on the French Open but became the first Brit to have won again the Wimbledon after a long time.

Juan Martin Del Potro

Del Potro can be an unexpected winner for this year even if he lost in his Wimbledon game against Djokovic. His non-stop passion to improve and grow can be his key to possibly winning this year's U.S. Open title.

Novak Djokovic

No one doubts Djokovic's potential to win especially with the amazing tennis performances he's been showing everyone lately. He is known for playing with ease at the hard courts and can surely win through the first set of rounds of the tournament. Hence, he is on top of the list of this year's prediction of winner for the men's division of the 2013 U.S. Open Tennis tournament.
