2014 CMT Music Awards: Luke Bryan & Florida Georgia Line Reenacts Solange & Jay Z Epic Elevator Brawl, Without Beyonce [VIDEO]
Still trending after a month, Solange and Jay Z controversial elevator fight was spoofed during the 2014 CMT Music Awards with country stars Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line's Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley. Part of host Kristen Bell's opening monologue, the surveillance footage features the three singers kicking and punching each other inside the car while the host patiently waiting for its door to open.
The video ended with Bryan telling the host: "What happens in the elevator stays in the elevator."
The trio's faux fight kicked off the night of glamour and awards, and an emotional night for the great and good of country. The annual award show highlights include a real and knockout performance of Luke Bryan, together with Jason Derulo, Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard got the crowd screaming and jumping with their number.
"The Voice" coach Blake Shelton is one proud mentor when he handed the gong for Best Female Video Of The Year to his protégé Cassadee Pope. The boots wearing country star looked to be overwhelmed with pride as he announced the winner on Wednesday during the show's televised performance.
Together with his wife for three years Miranda Lambert, the country crooner also received an award for Best Male Video of the Year for his song "Doin' What She Likes." Despite the divorce rumors, the couple looked so happy together and was even caught in PDA while sitting in the front row of the show.
Another highlight of the night is when Bell breakout into a song singing an ode to guys' crotches. "We love our country guys. I mean, really love them," said the "Frozen" voice actress to the crowd before singing the humorous song. "We love their style, their swagger, their in-your-face attitude. But gentleman, maybe there's one thing that's maybe too in our face. I think you know what I'm talking about: those too-tight jeans, guys. I'm talking about those big ol'...you know what, I'm going to be able to say this better in song."
Aside from singing the original song, the blond-haired actress kept the funny up throughout the night that she even dressed up as Alan Jackson, who is the recipient of the first ever CMT Impact Award.
