2014 NBA All-Star Reserves Named
First-timers and returning NBA All-Stars, the best of the best in the top basketball pro league in the world gets to show off their wares in the NBA’s midseason showcase set Feb. 14-16.
A total of four players will be playing their first NBA All-Star Game set this year in New Orleans, Louisiana. DeMar DeRozan, John Wall, Paul Millsap for the East and Damian Lillard for the West all make their debut joining Joe Johnson, Chris Bosh, Roy Hibbert, Joakim Noah, Chris Paul, Tony Parker, James Harden, LaMarcus Aldridge, Dirk Nowitzki and Dwight Howard as NBA All-Star reserves this season.
Previously named All-Star Starters were the East’s Dwyane Wade, Kyrie Irving, LeBron James, Paul George and Carmelo Anthony; and the West’s Stephen Curry, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Kevin Love and Blake Griffin.
Only Byrant and Paul have current injury problems and both could miss the game. The starting five were voted by the fans during the season but the reserves were selected via votes from the head coaches in each conference.
