Andrew Wiggins had a workout with the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday with Philly taking the first crack at the draft prospect over the Cleveland Cavaliers and Milwaukee Bucks, which have scheduled their own workout with Wiggins on Wednesday and Friday, respectively.

How bad do the Sixers want Wiggins? According to an ESPN report, Philadelphia has inquired about an exchange with the Cavaliers’ first pick and is willing to give up their No. 3 pick and power forward Thaddeus Young in exchange for the top pick in the 2014 NBA Draft set on June 26.

There’s also an intentional secrecy within the Philly camp with regards to Wiggins’ visit to their city recently.

“Campus security asked the news media and fans to leave at the team's request. A Philadelphia police officer was summoned later because the media stood on the sidewalk instead of across the street from the facility,” reports Philly.com.

Days before the scheduled workout, the 19-year-old forward was already in Philadelphia and was also seen with Sixers general manager Sam Hinkie in a restaurant.

Aside from the 3rd pick in the expected top-heavy draft, Philadelphia also has the 10th overall selection. The Cavs own the top pick and the Bucks will be picking second.

Wiggins, who was born in Ontario, Canada averaged 17.1 points and 5.9 rebounds for the Kansas Jayhawks in his first and only year in college.

Other top prospects in the draft include Joel Embiid (Kansas), Jabari Parker (Duke), Dante Exum (Australian Institute of Sports) and Noah Vonleh (Indiana). The trio of Embiid, Parker and Wiggins are expected to go 1-2-3 in although the exact positioning varies in most mock drafts.
