Most of the fashion-savvy people look up to the red carpet for style inspiration, and this year's Screen Actors' Guild Awards is no exception. Many fashion observers saw a lot of color and style risks among the celebrities who walked the SAG awards red carpet. But we list down the top five things that may start a fashion trend for the rest of the year:

5. Suit and Jump
Julia Roberts' wine red Valentino frock may look like a gown at first sight, but look closely and you'll notice that it's actually a wide-leg jumpsuit. Indeed, it's totally refreshing to see a female celebrity wear something that is not a gown and rock it on the red carpet.

4. Metals and Jewels
E! News' Fashion Police saw a lot of metallics and jewel tones on the SAG Awards red carpet. Metallic wearers include Sandra Bullock's green Lanvin dress, Sofia Vergara's gunmetal gray Donna Karan frock and Emilia Clarke's rose gold Calvin Klein number. Jewels on the red carpet include Lupita Nyong'o's turquoise Gucci dress, Jennifer Lawrence's sparkly Dior (which resembles a really dark and sparkly opal) and Elisabeth Moss's ruby red number by Michael Kors.

3. The Preggy Crop Top
Kerry Washington makes 'fashion history' by wearing a hot pink sequined crop top and a full tafetta skirt by Vera Wang, all while she is pregnant to her first child. And judging from her amazing red carpet style during the Golden Globes and the Critics' Choice Awards, it would seem like she was right in saying that her 'best accessory' is her growing baby bump.

2. Deep Blue Sea
While the Golden Globes saw a lot of dresses the same color as the red carpet, the SAG Awards was 'flooded' with gowns in different shades of blue -- from the cobalts (Anna Gunn, Amy Adams, Kelly Osbourne) to the navy blues (Oprah Winfrey, Mindy Kaling, Jennifer Garner). And if turquoise is a shade of blue, then maybe we can count Lupita Nyong'o's amazing Gucci frock?

1. Breaking Bag
Perhaps the most standout of all the items that appeared on the red carpet belongs to that little clutch that Anna Gunn was holding. It was a box clutch bearing the periodic table symbols Br and Ba, reminiscent of the 'Breaking Bad' logo that appeared on the show's opening credits. The Edie Parker-made accessory has gained massive raves from various fashion observers, so much that E! Online predicts that it will be "a collector's item Breaking Bad fans will be itching to get their hands on."
