At London, 47 models sashayed down the ramp, including Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Doutzen Kroes, Candice Swanepoel, Lily Aldridge, Behati Prinsloo, Karlie Kloss, Elsa Hosk and Lindsay Ellingson. This year, there were two fantasy bras, valued at $ 2 million each. For the first time, two 'Dream Angels', Lima and Ambrosio, wore the fantasy bras at this year's event.
Speaking about the bras, Monica Mitro, executive vice president of publicity at Victoria's Secret and an executive producer of the show, said to Zap2it, "This year, it's more than a bra. It's on our Dream Angels frame, so it's a bra frame that our customers are very familiar with, and [Mouawa] jeweled them and they're custom-made for each of the models." She said that each of the bras has a neck piece, an arm piece and a body piece, making it a "jeweled body piece beyond just the bra." Mitri also said that the London event is a black-tie and models are wearing the "lingerie version of a black-tie."
Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande and Hozier performed at the 2014 Victoria Secret's fashion show. For her performance, Swift appeared on the stage wearing pink and lace outfit and later changed into a black lingerie set. For Sheeran, it was an "odd" experience. CBS News has quoted him as saying, "It's one of the only times I've ever played when the attention isn't on the musician, so it's an odd thing."
