2015 Victoria’s Secret Angels Given Wings, New Line-up Has 10 Models [WATCH VIDEO]

Victoria’s Secret has given bedazzled wings to 10 models this year. The 2015 Victoria's Secret Angels were announced on April 29 with the iconic lingerie brand revealing their names after the loss of its two famous faces including Karlie Kloss and Doutzen Kroes. From the introduction of the first angels in 1997 with Helena Christensen and Stephanie Seymour to the addition of Gisele Bundchen in 1999. VS has only added to its long line of supermodels, according to E! Online.

The current VS Angels include the likes of Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo, Candace Swanepoel and Lily Aldridge. Joining the list year this year are models Kate Grigorieva from Russia, Taylor Hill from Colorado, Elsa Hosk from Sweden, Martha Hunt from North Carolina, Jac Jagaciak from Poland, Stella Maxwell from UK, Lais Ribeiro from Brazil, Sara Sampaio from Portugal, Romee Strijd from Holland and Jasmine Tookes from California, the company said in a press release on April 28. The Angels are the pillar behind the label.

“The expanded Angel line-up gives VS the largest group of contract models in its history and the most powerful collection of established and emerging models in the world,” the announcement said. The lingerie company also provided a 15-second clip introducing their new models, with a summary of each of their bona fides, which include racket sports, salsa dancing, and trying new meals. While Kate is an accomplished ballroom dancer, Taylor likes music, reading, snowboarding and yoga.

Elsa was a professional basketball player before branching off to modelling. Martha is from North Carolina and likes to cook while indulging in activities like surfing and dancing. Jac who belongs to an athletic family was trained in track and field since childhood. Stella, who was discovered by a New Zealand agent, loves racket sports, hiking and travel.

Lais stays active with boxing, volleyball and soccer. She also has a passion for salsa dancing. Sara is a brown belt in karate, plays the violin, and loves to surf. Romee has a passion for interior design and cooking while keeping fit with running and boxing. Jasmine practiced gymnastics for 14 years and played high school volleyball. She is a self-described “foodie” who loves trying new and exotic meals.
