Soap fans rejoice: The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, or NATAS, released the full list of nominees for the 43rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.

CBS’ soap “The Young and the Restless” led the other shows, ending with 27 Emmy nods. ABC Daytime’s “General Hospital” followed suit with 24 nominations, while “The Bold and the Beautiful” had 23. NBC’s “Days Of Our Lives” is a contender for 16 awards.

Fans are excited to know the winners in this year’s ceremony, which will be held at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites on Sunday, May 1. They are in for a disappointment, however, as NATAS announced that there will not be a broadcast of the 43rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.

“After months of negotiations to find show sponsorship, the NATAS Executive Board has decided that the current climate for awards shows prohibits the possibility of a telecast this year,” said Bob Mauro, NATAS president in a statement. “With that said, we will be putting on a world-class awards celebration honoring the best and brightest of Daytime television and look forward to an exciting show. All efforts regarding returning the annual gala to television in 2017 are underway.”
