Jack Bauer is back and this time he will be running around the streets of London as he tries to save the world. The brand new Fox series "24: Live Another Day" features "24" star Kiefer Sutherland as he reprises his role as Jack Bauer and tries to beat the clock once again.

The new 12-episode series of the "24" prequel will be set in London and will premiere in the US on May 5 featuring a two-hour special, and will return to its usual on-hour format every week. The show will return to Sky 1 after outbidding BBC for the third season.

Just like the old "24" series, the upcoming prequel will retain the real-time format with split screen that features interwoven storylines. "Live Another Day" will begin four years after the event of "24's" series finale.

When asked about his latest spy action series, Sutherland reveals his excitement in filming the show in Europe. "24 has always had such a global sensibility. But to be able to tell this intense 24-style story with the beauty of Europe's history and architecture as the backdrop is going to be fascinating," says Sutherland.

"Hopefully, by the time you're finished watching an episode, you'll feel like you've been there...on the edge of your seat," adds the star.

Executive producer Manny Coto also reveals Jack Bauer as a hunted man and a fugitive. "If you remember at the end of season eight, Jack was basically left a fugitive," reveals Coto. "When we pick up four years later, he is still a fugitive. He's hunted."

The thrilling new season also stars "Law & Order" actor Benjamin Bratt as head of CIA operations Steve Harris. Bratt's Harris is responsible of bringing Jack Bauer into custody as he commands the CIA operation in London.

"Chuck" star Yvonne Strahovski will play as CIA agent Kate Morgan under the direct supervision of Steve Harris. Resourceful and driven, Strahovski reveals that her character has emotional scarring which is different from everything that she has done.

"She is hunting Jack Bauer when we first meet her. She has a little bit of a past, some emotional scarring that I get to play with here for this character, that'll make it a little different than anything I've done before which is fun," says Strahovski.
