"24: Live Another Day" has roped in Judy Davis to portray the role of British National, Margot. The character is a widow of a notorious terrorist. Media reports suggest that she might be the villain of the upcoming miniseries.

Deadline reports that it was earlier reported by Fox that the character of Margot would be that of a German arms dealer. However, the role of Margot has undergone changes and it is no longer like it was originally conceived. Margot will be a recurring character in the series.

It was earlier announced that Kiefer Sutherland will return to reprise his role of Jack Bauer. In addition, Kim Raver, William Devane and Mary Lynn Rajskub will also return and reunite with Sutherland to reprise their roles in the highly popular "24."

"24 : Live Another Day" will premiere sometime in spring 2014 on Fox. The premiere episode of this 12-episode miniseries will pick up several years---according to some reports 4 years---after the events of "24's" final season in 2010. The miniseries will be set in London and will follow the original signature real-time action in the each episode.

Citing Kevin Reilly, Fox Entertainment chairman, Huffington Post had reported that the miniseries will be half the original series running length and the 12 episodes will be in chronological order but will skip some hours.

According to a press statement, the upcoming miniseries is set several years after the events of "24's" final season. It will follow the exploits of Jack Bauer in real time.

The "24: Live Another Day" miniseries is a production of Teakwood Lane Productions in association with 20th Century Fox Television and Imagine Television. The executive producers of the new upcoming series are Howard Gordon, Evan Katz, Manny Coto, David Fury, Robert Cochran, Brian Grazer, Jon Cassar and Kiefer Sutherland.
