Who will direct the upcoming Superman movie? The latest director to be attached to the movie according to reports is Zack Snyder. The director had previously helmed the 2007 blockbuster 300, and the film adaptation of superhero graphic novel Watchmen.

Reportedly, the competition for the directorial job is intense with Christopher Nolan, who serves as producer for the project, meeting with high profile directors including Tony Scott (True Romance, Top Gun, Man on Fire) and Darren Aronofsky (Requiem for a Dream, The Wrestler, and Black Swan).

Snyder will definitely infuse his style to the Superman movie, if he ever directs it. According to Wikipedia, Snyder often utilize slow motion in fight scenes in his films. Critics say this style distinguishes Snyder from other filmmakers that prefer multiple cuts and close-ups during a fight.
