There are studies that showed how early risers tend to accomplish more in a regular day compared to those who work throughout the night. The disposition of morning persons was also shown to be cheerier compared to those who woke up late.

Most successful people have morning rituals that they go through for a specific amount of time every day. In a report on Psychology Today, author Laura Vanderkam mentioned in her book "What The Most Successful People Do Before Breakfast," that successful individuals devoted significant portions of their morning hours doing what was most important to them or what they loved to do. This may include exercising, meditating or eating a healthy meal.

Successful people also have a list of things to do for each particular day, which they created a day or more before. The list puts them on track and ensures that they meet their objectives on time.

3. Eat breakfast

In a case study published on Forbes.com, many successful people never skip breakfast and consider it as the most important meal of the day. They report that eating a full, healthy and delicious breakfast jumpstarts their day properly and provides them the nutrients and energy they need to accomplish tasks.

4. They plan and organize

Highly successful people start their day by fixing their schedule and organizing tasks. They will start making necessary calls, go over their checklist, write on their journal and make the final adjustments before heading to the office. They intend to accomplish each item in their organizer within a specific period to avoid problems and losing precious time.

5. They spend time getting dressed

Power-dressing helps increase confidence and provides a mental boost that will prepare people to meet any challenge for the day. Successful people find it essential to plan and prepare the clothes they are going to wear as well as the necessary accessories to handle any type of situation.
